"Hi everyone! My name is Krystah Pacheco, and I am a senior studying Biology with minors in Chemistry and Honors. I've recently applied to dental schools this application cycle, and upon graduation, I hope to practice dentistry in rural New Mexico. I have been involved with Pre-Dental Society since my freshman year, and I have gained valuable experience as I prepare for a career in dentistry. "Hello everybody! My name is Samantha and I’m honored to be one of your UNMPDS officers this year. I graduated in 2021 from UNM’s Anderson School of Management and since then, I’ve been a continuing student with goals to finish my bachelors in biology and prepare to take the DAT. My ultimate goal is to become a dentist and I feel with a great combination of my diverse character status, education, experience, and being a leader of this society will help me achieve that someday. "Hello everyone! I am so excited to have another successful semester with our pre-dental students. As the Volunteer Coordinator, I am dedicated to working with students in providing them with different volunteer opportunities to ensure they are getting the hours that they need. Volunteering has a large impact on personal growth, professional development, and community engagement. As a future dentist, I believe community engagement is an integral part for contributing to our underserved populations. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions about dental school."

"I am a third-year biochemistry major. I plan to apply to dental school next application cycle. I am deeply passionate about dentistry and the work that our club does to prepare us for dental school and a career in dentistry. I have been an active member of this club for several semesters and have gained valuable experience and knowledge from our meetings, events, and volunteer opportunities. I am committed to serving our club and contributing to its success. In my free time, I enjoy thrifting, snowboarding, and collecting shoes."

"My name is Erica Vigil. I'm persuing a degree in Biology with a minor in Buisness Administration. This will be my second year as a member of the UNM Pre-Dental Society and I couldn't be more thrilled. I am especially excited to be serving as the recruitment chair for the upcoming school year! My desire to become a dentist was a little unconventional. Nonetheless, my participation in the Pre-Dental Society has been a vital part of my journey into the field of Dentistry. I am currently working as a surgical assistant in oral surgery. My time working as an assistant has given me a deeper appreciation for anyone who working in the healthcare field."
